Last full band show of the year. Limited tickets. New songs!
My first recording studio experience was 21 years ago at In Your Ear in Richmond. I recorded a radio commercial for Regency Square Mall about back to school sales for the fall of 2004. I carried a Walkman around daycare over the summer tuned to Q94 trying to hear myself on air as many times as possible. Although it was the beginning and end of my voice over career, it wasn’t the last time I’d find myself at IYE.
Next Tuesday night, my full band is appearing on Shockoe Sessions Live which happens to be at this very same studio. SSL is a weekly concert series held at In Your Ear here in Richmond viewable both in person and online. If you’re able to come to the show, get your tickets ASAP! It’s a really unique experience and tickets are limited to a small, intimate audience.
Most likely, this will be the only opportunity to hear me with a band before the end of the year. We’re going to be playing all of the sad girl summer EP and some brand new songs.
And if you’re curious… I do happen to have the radio spot. The squeaky kid voice is me!
